Unity always lacked in this country. Thus ,we suffered. It is no different now. it is heading now for all out destruction. As we never had unity, will never have and no such hopes too. Look at the state of affairs. Every political party   without exception  is   dagger drawn against each other. Own country men are turning to be traitors.     What hope we can have in this context. For short  time gains, the leaders are doing un told damage to the country. No political party is exception. All are  dubious characters.. Some less ..some more..although they preach morals at high pitch.

Naresh..To be  precise ,will you prefer to take birth again  in this country after this life, If you believe in rebirths?

There was one Indian army chief by name General  JN CHAUDHRY. he as a major general of a division  led his forces into Nizams Hyderabad state from four sides in 1948 in which Razakars were massacred and Nizam and his army surrendered.  kasim razvi the marauder was arrested and put in jail for ten years. Hyderabad state merged with India. Gen chaudhry in later years was an ambassador  abroad  and married a Canadian lady and migrated to Canada. He took Canadian citizenship and surrendered Indian citizenship. What you have to say about him who served as army? chief. How do you look at him? Did he not love his country?

Another friend.. Sarala. 

He married an outsider. Why she  will come  to India. May be she refused . After marriage and  retirement, priorities  change. For his family harmony ,he might have decided to take  Canadian citizenship..

Taking birth for  country... .its all our feelings to express our love towards  country .

Family unity... bondage  

All depends on individuals brought up .

 moreover, generation gap is playing a vital role. 

I  always feel that we can easily cross

 'RAMASETU' but not this generation gap

l love my country. proud to be an Indian .

 When my son asked me about taking green card

 'I said ''this is not my place''

It is not lack of love for the country or your patriotism.  Some times, you are not able to stand upto the happenings around you  and your inner soul is tortured and you are compelled to take certain steps/ decisions may be unexpected of you  .

Very good comments Ashok. The questions I put are difficult to  answer. Compulsions, situations and limitations affect the decision. 

 The way country is being run at present where merit is the least priority, most of the people of merit  migrate never to return.They take deep breath , moment their air craft leaves the air port that they got rid off the place. Many scientists of Indian origin settled abroad  and did not return because they believed in India  they have no future. There are some noble laureates too.Today every year, thousands of students go abroad to study and they settle down there   and never return.We have become a factory for supply of tech man power to advanced nations. It is not that they are not patriotic. But because our country's systems are short sighted ,rotten and polluted. They  prefer to stay  outside. People prefer to stay in a country that offers them some  bread and butter  and not empty promises taking them for a ride. Enough is enough they claim.. They will not like to starve in the country of their 

birth on the pretext of patriotism  while country is like a rotten egg. When there is no hope for growth and livelihood, what is the use of rotting in a shit pot and keep swimming   like a frog in well. They strive hard to get out to eke out  living. Patriotism is something different  from being discriminated, being pushed down through reservation  policies, Caste bias, religious discrimination etc. If one has to overcome these maladies one has to find own ways and rise in life and not remain oppressed even after getting freedom from foreign bondage. We are in such scenario. So the never ending brain drain, from India.to USA, UK GERMANY AND AUSTRALIA.  This will never stop because we can never catch up with those advanced countries, neither country is bothered.to remove the existing  maladies. To corner votes, at  elections, leaders promise freebees more and more , reservations etc and thus  ruin the nation. Where comes the patriotism in this situation.
