He composed and directed music for some of the greatest musical hits like tansen  with saigal sahib, ziddi, bhartrihari with Surendranathji  and many more.In ziddi  kishore gave play back for Dev ananad. The song was  .. marneki duwaye kyu mangu jeeneki tamanna kaun kare.......  kishore sang the song in saigals style. Khemchand prakash advised   kishore whether he wants to be known as a copy cat of saigal sahib or wanted to build up his own identity. This made a difference and  soon Kishore developed his own style. In his initial career Kishore sang mostly comic and funny songs and  later became a great play back singer with rise of  Rajesh khanna. amitabh,  and other heroes. By that time, stalwarts like Rafi, mukesh   passed away and Talat and hemant retired.  .  .   Khem chand prakash  passed away early.
