This fort is located on several hills about 60 km away fromHyerabad. The fort is built in many tiers and it is builtby granited blocks without any binding material. Velama kings ruled here in 14 and 15 centuries for 100 years. The colluded with bahamni kings and fought battles with Reddy kings at Addanki and konadaveedu and vijay nagar kings. Finally they lost kingdom to bahmani sultans.
