 SHANKAR DAS GUPTA, EMINENT trained GHAZAL SINGER AND PLAY BACK SINGER. He gave 60 play back songs and some were hit songs too. he sang for rajkapoor in1949 in daulat and also for devanand in jeet and few more pictures. there was stiff competition and later he migrated to England and frequently visited India. He died in 1992 at Bombay in train accident. He also had inclination too towards saigal style
