veterans agitating at jantar mantra were badly handled by Delhi administration, shame indeed in Independent India by Dr k Prabhakar Rao

General Shankar Roy Chaudhry Retd, the former army chief was earlier an MP and now occasionally writes in news papers D eccan chronicle from Hyderabad. He should have immediately written An article snubbing Delhi police behaviour and manhandling of EXSERVICEMEN at jantar mantar.this incident is a black day in Indian history and armed forces history after independence. The service chiefs have been mute spectators at the happenings and it is a sad Day. Very soon. A ll of them will become EXSERVICEMEN one day. Gen VK Singh former chief should have resigned straightaway. He has nothing to loose. What is the use of serving in such cabinet where Modiji the PM has not tendered public apology to veterans for the shady and shabby conduct of Delhi police.Gen VK SIngh has sold himself for the political office than the welfare of troops which he commanded. The oath from Chetwode hall has been betrayed.Mr Antony who was the defense minister in previous govt who reacted on OROP is a pure opportunist and he has done nothing while in power.the same is with Rahul who went to see exservice men after the incident To exploit situation to his benefit. The retired army personnel must return their decorations to the president and be happy. As it is these decorations like PVSM, AVSM, VSM, SM , PVC , MVC Ashok chakra, shourya chakraetc have no value in civilian world. What the president has to say as supreme commander of armed forces.Probably he can not comment on this sensitive issue.President is only a ceremonial head for armed forces and has no direct control on them. he us like king George Of England
