NAVAL THREATS TO INDIA FROM CHINA... WHERE WE, ARE.?
CAN TREATY WITH UK HELP INDIA TO COUNTER CHINESE NAVAL THREAT

As for as I know, there is no treaty.between UK Navy and India for co operation against China in sea waters.. They might go in. Infact ,Britain is a much weakened power now from what it was once during wwii or earlier. It has lost its cutting edge and is more or less a spent force. One of the main reason for granting freedom to India in 1947 was great devastation caused to it during WW II and weakening of its military might. The naval action of last time after wwII was during Falkland war against Argentina. Later ,there was no naval action except moving of ships here and there as a show business and some past time.
Now, they moved the naval mighty carrier ship queen Elizabeth with some escort ships to Indian Ocean to take part in training actions with Indian Navy. If at all we have to counter threat of China at sea, we may have to enter into a treaty with another sea power. No one will get into treaty without conditions. No one does social service neither we. Our non alignment policy by Nehru did not bring any friends to our fold. We were snubbed with a phrase.. Non alignment was a sin by American secretary of state.. NON ALIGNMENT MOVEMENT was patronized by only those nations who were weak politically militarily and economically and were from third world countries and were of no consequence and thus the movement struggled from beginning and rather died without doing anything..
In fact ,it was started by Nehru, Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt, Marshal Tito of Yugoslovia and Sukarno of Indonesia who wanted to be in lime light some how. Now it is dead although for name sake it exists. In world politics, give and take is the motto. But, India wanted to stay aloof because we chose to blindly follow Gandhian thought which was not relevant in a changed world. During Chinese war in 1962 , we were beaten black and blue and were saved by USA, THANKS TO JF KENNEDY the American president. But for his statement over BBC, PLA would have been in Tezpur in few hours and would have cut off entire east at Chickens neck at siliguri corridor. In world politics, one can not choose to be in isolation still expecting carrots from the powers. Thus, if India has to face Chinese navy, we must have a treaty with the super power or Britains navy. We have to pay a prize for it. If we delay, no one will come to our rescue in a crisis with China. These training naval exercises hardly matters in present situation as China knows that there is no treaty for India with UK.It can get bold and browbeat us.Few helicopters inducted for hunting enemy submarines and with single aircraft carrier with naval planes too do not make us a sea power of any reckoning in world. We may be slightly better than minor countries like Malysia, Indonesia , Lanka , Maldives, Burma that are too insignificant in the context but are no match to China that is emerging as super power. Should we beat our drums as a sea power in Indian ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea while we are not, in face of mighty china.

Taxation of common man
Taxation of common man. A legacy from Slave sultans days right from days of Kutubuddin Aibek spreading from 12 century to Aurangzeb times till 1707. During east India company days too taxation was high and many polygors revolted battles were fought and many were martyred.We are no way better even now. Taxing common man has been the sole method to raise funds by sultans, kings emperors and democratically elected govts world wide. Raising taxes results in spiralling of prices of all commodities as the producers of various goods and farm produce will raise prices and pass on to consumers. The govts ate centre and states are resorting to give free funds to various sections of people and this is resulting in great drain on govt funds and people are getting into laziness and will to work hard is dwindling. Farmers are being given free cash sanctions per acre. But rich farmers who are not in disress are also getting such money and govt is loosing money and tao gain funds govt raises taxes. India is resorting to such vote catching tricks and such tricks are ruining the country. When a tree is about to die it produces rotten and distorted fruit. India is also on similar state.

TURREBAZ KHAN The Brave chieftain of Hyderabad army of Nizam 5, MirAfzaluddaula, in 1857 who revolted against company rule
TURREBAZ KHAN OR TURRAM KHAN OF HYDERABAD ARMY.. 1857.
He was the son of pathan Rustam khan native of Begum Bazar in Hyderabad. He was a distinguished commander of contingent of Rohila forces in Hyderabad army. When 1857 war broke out in North India,it also influenced Hyderabad. Nizam Afzaluddaula 5th ruler of Hyderabad state was a staunch supporter of the British. maulvi Syed Alauddin at Mecca Maszid of Hyderabd influenced Turrebaz khan to rise to the occasion and fight to throw out yoke of slavery. Consequently, Turrebaz khan supported by nearly 500 rohilla soldiers attacked Residency fort at kothi from Putli bowli side in Hyderabad on 17 July 1857.However information was earlier passed to Residency about the impending attack. In fact, the attack was primarily meant to free cheeda khan who was imprisoned in Residency jail. There was bitter fight between the rebels and the well prepared English army at Residency fort. Turrebaz khan was captured and was put in prison after awarding imprisonment in Andamans. However khan escaped from captivity on 18 July 1859.The govt notified prize money for capture of Turrebaz khan at any cost who took shelter in forest area in Toopran in Medak province. the location of Turre baz khan was revealed by talukdar kurban Ali. Forces from Hyderabad immediately rushed to Toopran and Turrebaz khan fought alone with govt forces and was killed in the fight on 24 Jan 1859 and his body was dragged to Hyderabad and was hanged naked near present day police station at sultan bazar. Maulana syed Alauddin was, deported to Andamans where he perished. Nizam 5 received great titles and praise from the queen of England and was permitted to mint coins with his image. Turre baz khan faded into golden pages of history.The road from kothi to putli bowli is named after him and to day no one knows about it. How ungrateful are our people of India . The memorial of these martyrs built at Koti in front of Residency is surrounded by the busy bus stop crowd, petty traders, filth, autos, honking buses and the memorial is completely neglected. Is this the respect we pay. where once in year some jokers claiming to be leaders arrive with fan fare and place floral tributes and vanish. Sad affairs in city of Hyderabad.

This is fine that some improved equipments are given to paramilitary like BSF and NSG personnel apart from Army to fight militants in kashmir. Only vehicless will not do.... The army should be given free hand in fighting the militancy to eliminate it. Tieing it's hands and asking it to fight is no solution as it has been happening all these years. Many officers and soldiers faced court proceedings and were jailed for many years facing trials on charges of murder.
after they killed some militants in encounters. In such scenario, forces hesitate to take stern action against militants. We must remember that terrorists, must be killed. If not done, they will mercilessly kill us. This has been a great lacuna in this country. The vehicles given to forces, are not mere show pieces. govt must ensure that our forces are not harassed in course of their duty.

NARAYAN RAO PAWAR.. ARYA SAMAJI, HYDERABAD, NIZAMS STATE
NARAYAN RAO PAWAR. An Arya samaj activist in former Hyderabad state of Nizam 7.He became famous after he threw a bomb at Nizam 7 Mir Osman Alikhan, at king kothi palace on4 dec 1947.Jagadish Arya and Gandiah Arya were co conspirators. The Nizam escaped and pawar was arrested. He was tried at sessions Court and was sentenced to death. Jagadish Arya was awarded life term. After police action on 17 sept1948, sentence of pawar was changed to life term. Swami Ramananda theertha a prominent leader of the period who was guru of PV Narsimha Rao later acted as mediator and pleaded with Pawar to write a mafeenama.. I. E apology letter to the governor. But Pawar refused. He served 21 months jail term and was released on 10 Aug 1949.He passed away on 12 dec 2010. He did not get much recognition in Independent India and died unsung.He did not run after awards, posts, and some recognition from the govt. He is one among many unsung heroes of freedom struggle.
BABA SAHEB BHASKAR RAO BHAVE
BABA SAHEB OR BHASAR RAO BHAVE RULER OF NARGUND SAMSTHAN in present day Gadag dist in Karnataka. It was built by Shivaji maharaj to offer resistance to mughals and it was not easy to capture the fort. It was unlike other usual forts. It was built with only essential features like very strong bastions ,amunition storage, water reservoir and quarters for army. No unnesessary frills were added. It was under Maratha rulers for 15 years after its creation. Later, Mughal emperor Aurangzeb invaded the fort and captured it by defeating the Maratha army. However, the courageous Marathas again captured the fort from Mughal rulers under Ramrao Dadaji Bhave in 1707. In the 18th century Nargund Fort along with the surrounding region was under the authority of King Venkat Rao of the Bhave family, which was subservient to the Marathas. The suzerainty of the Maratha rulers over Nargund Fort remained till 1778, when it was captured by the King of Mysore, Hyder Ali. In 1784, Hyder Ali's son, Tipu Sultan, controlled the fort. In 1857 it was under Bhaskar rao bhave. He rebelled against East India Company in 1857 war and gave a call for a revolt against the company rule. He defeated army sent by the East India Company very bravely in which the commanding officer and political agent Mason of the attacking army was killed. However, soon reinforcements arrived under Major Malcom and Bhave was captured after betrayal by some locals . He was captured, tried and hanged at Belgavi. Nargund fort in the centre of Nargund town stands today desolateas mute spectator to the valor and sacrifice of baba saheb in 1857 and also to shameful betrayal of his country man. The fort is unkept although under govt. Any one can enter the fort and there is no control and at present the fort is in state of ruins. It shows the apathy of the govt and also of locals towards a great t historical monument. This is the usual phenomenon in Free India. The priorities of govt are different who are after vote catching ways to remain in power all the time.

SHOIBULLAH KHAN, EDITOR . IMROZ NEWS PAPER. IN NIZAM'S STATE OF HYDERABAD.. MARTYR.. 1948.
He was the editor of urdu news paper IMROZ published from Hyderabad in Nizams state. He was a fearless journalist and he did not subscribe to the policies of Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur, fatehJung, Sipah salar, KCSI ruler of the princely state of Hyderabad. NIZAM was hoping to remain as an indepenent sovereign and head of Hyderabad state I. E Osmanistan. He refused to merge with Indian union. On June 11, 1947 He declared independence . Shoebullah khan boldly criticised nizams policy and Razakar actions in the state in his news paper. Kasim Razvi the chief of Razakar bands declared earlier at a function held at Sagar talkies in Hyderabad that the right hand of those would be chopped off who wrote against nizam and MIM, the party of Razakars. On the night of 22_23 Aug 1948,
Shoiubulla khan who was returning home from his press was attacked by hoodlums and his right palm was chopped off while three men pumped three bullets into him. He died at Osmania hospital on 23 August 1948 at night. Murder of Shoebullah khan accelerated action by Indian union and Indian Army directed by sardar patel invaded along with armoured fighting vehicles like Shermas and stuart tanks of WW II vintage. They entered the Hyderabad state from four fronts on sept 13 , 1948 and in matter of a week plus, the Hyderabad state surrendered unconditionally. 3000 Razakars were shot dead in the operation along with some troops of Hyderabad army. This was called police action. Kasim razvi, laik Ali the Prime minister and DGP police and many others, were arrested and imprisoned . Razvi was later tried for murder of shoebullah khan and bibinagar dacoity by a special court comprising of three judges from different faiths.. He was acquitted of murder charge reportedly due to lack of evidence but was, sentenced for ten years RI for the dacoity case. Razvi no doubt held the threat to those opposing Nizam and MIM. In any other country, Razvi would have been summarily executed for his deeds . We developed weak knees infact. Razakar crimes are well known all over and Razvi was its commander self styled as Field marshal. He served the sentence at pune and after release, migrated to Pakistan immediately where he died later. He was a lawyer by profession and was a man of darkest deeds in former Hyderabad state. Sadly Osman shah the Nizam 7 promoted Razvi and blindly followed Razivs advice. Razvi shouted at pitch of voice that waters of bay of Bengal would wash feet of Osman shah and he would fly the Asafia flag over Red fort at Delhi and that he would build graves for Nehru and patel. Laik Ali the PM and Deen yar jung the DGP were his abettors.

No doubt the head of the present govt is not corrupt and he is struggling to do something that no one has ever done so far... My contention is that, yet there are many failings too. He cannot transform mindset of crores of people with a magic wand even if he enjoys bull dozer majority.. The mind set is entrenched since Satya yuga and the society is fully cemented with such mindset. He has to deal many strange persons with drawn swords always like Owaissi sahib . Can he change basic structure of constitution? Unless this is done, most of the vexing problems can not be solved. The Constitution was a conglomeration of American and British thoughts and their constitutions and to which we were slaves. The writers had lofty expectations from the people of India and expected the leaders to be honest to the core. Alas it was not true. In multi religious,multi sectarian society with variety of languages every one claiming supreme and drawing swords against each other, the Constitution book has many short comings that makes governing rather impossible. Sir Winston Churchill the former PM of England declared before 1947 that poor India would be handed over to a bunch of crooks and oppertunists who would tax even a glass of water and a piece of bread. His predictions have become true. The country is built over falsified foundation. No foundation can be repaired if it is fully rotten. We are in that state. We suffered much in 70 years of freedom at the hands of series of leaders in state and center under the present book called constitution. For vote banks the leaders have divided the society into shreds resulting in no unity and caste politics are the worst danger to the country. As a result ,there is no light at end of tunnel. As time flows by, we are getting more and more entrapped and sinking deep into a shit pot. The tunnel is getting more and more dark with no end. I agree that present govt did certain things that could not be done by others like dispensation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. It was possible due to bull dozer majority and some will to do too. But, it is the people and bureaucrats in particular in the country that need reformation and probably this he can not achieve. The muck collected since 70 years will not go so easily. He will run out of time.Even today, bureaucrats play their game and there is no fear. Only autocratic rule can not change things. Even if one enjoys bull dozer majority, one must try to take every one along with him as much as possible. In present conditions, we have scores of hurdles. These were exposed during farmers agitation and OROP struggle by veterans when Ex service men were dishonored at Jantar mantar by Delhi police personnel , latest in dealing with PLA in recent times to safeguard our territory and dealing with covid pandemic in second phase.Although we developed vaccine success fully and supllied to other weaker nations and beat up chests, soon the initiative was lost and in second phase were caught unawares very badly resulting in scores of deaths. Our poor health facilities and infra structure countrywide were exposed badly and had to run from pillar to post. Till now, the money stacked in swiss banks remains there. All have forgotten about the issue. No culprit who resorted to bank scams is behind bars. All have escaped except some small fish.Probably efforts are going on to catch them. God knows when they will be caught.However, hope things will change to better. Wish him the best like to any one.
DODDI KOMARIAH. MARTYR STRUGGLE IN NIZAMS STATE OF HYDERABAD...
'Doddi Komariah.. Martyr in nizams 7,Hyderabad state at Vishnur area near station Ghanpur. vear Warangal. Vishnur area was under a landlord and he as a tyrant occupied lands of small farmers. Ramchandra Reddy was the Deshmukh of vishnur with a fortress ( Gadi) and his mother Jankamma another evil tyrant stayed at village Kadikvendi. She fleeced locals and was a great exploiter. the local communist party activists opposed her activities tooth and nail. Soon razakars and guards of vishnur went to kadikvendi to suppress the rebels and when the armed guards of vishnur opened fire Doddi komariah a Shepard and communist activist was killed. He was the fore most martyr in the struggle against the Nizam 7 by communists. During Nizams reign, Doras and Reddys in villages were greatest tyrants and committed innumerable atrocities on poor in villages such as abductions land grabbing rapes etc. They lived in large gadis i.e fortress with pomp and show and fleeced people.

KOMARAM BHEEM. TRIBAL LEADER
.ADILABAD DISTRICT IN FORMER HYDERABAD STATE OF NIZAM 7.He fought forces
of Nizam 7 against exploitation of tribals from 1928 to
1940. He killed Nizams pattedar siddique who came with army to
collect taxes. Komaram bheem could not be captured in spite of intense
campaign by nizams forces owing to his guerill tactics. Bheem got inspiration
from Alluri seetha ramaraju in coastal Andhra region who also
fought for tribals in Visakha patnam agency areas very valiantly. He
dreamt of a Gondwana state. He also went to Chanda i.e Chadrapur in
former Gond kindom near Nagpur and learnt English, hindi and urdu. He returned
and with renewed vigor raised army of Tribals and continued his fight. Sadly,
He was killed in an encounter with police and Nizams army on 27 Oct
1940 at the age of 39 .Recently, a district has been named as Komaram Bheem
district and a statue has also been
erected at tank bund in Hyderabad and at other places.

PULI THEVAR.. He was a polygor from nerkattumseval sankaran koil taluk, Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu.He was adare devil fighter and very brave and people compared him to a tiger.He is known for leading a Revolt against East India company rule in 1757.Ondi veeran and venni kaladi were his generals and was the first Indian to fight against the British. Puli thevar was captured by the troops of Mohammed ali the arcot nawab and he was confined in the temple handcuffed. However as per legends the hand cuffs were broken with divine interference and Puli Thevar was not found any where later. People believe that the Lord Madeva took him with him. There are no reports of his death any where and remained a great mystery.
. He reportedly passed away in 1767.

UYYALAWADA NARSIMHA REDDY Martyr who fought with East India company much before 1857 war
Uyyalawada Narsimha reddy.. He was a polygor from royala seema areas in present day Andhra . Four districts of presen day royal seema were ceded to East India Company by the Nizam II. Nizam Ali khan .The Nizam could not pay yearly payment as per agreement for maintaining The coy troops in Hyderabad for protection. the East India Coy was much hard pressed for money owing to wars with Tippu sultan and imposed high taxes on farmers. It also brought in many changes that curtailed powers of polygors reducing them to punery. Narsimha reddy with 5000 of his armed followers attacked Coy administrative units and killed nearly 3000 enemy troops. Large forcrs were deplyed to hunt down rebels and prize money was announced on the head of Reddy. Reddy withdrew to koilakuntla , cumbhum and dense forests in nalla mala forsts and finally was captured due to betrayal.
He was tried and hanged at koilkunta fort in 1847 in view of 2000 people and his severed head was suspended to a long stake at the bastion till 1877 till it perished. Narsimha reddy faded into history and he was one of the fore most leaders who rebelled against India company like kittur rani Chinnamma in karnataka, Velu Thambi in Kerala and Mutukuri Gowdappa in Andhra. Long live his memory. Govt neither has interest nor any concern to the memory of these and many other stalwarts who sacrificed their lives for freedom. People also get a government that they deserve.

MUTUKURI GOWDAPPA.. GOUD HE was a village head of village ternekal in Adoni _District in present day AP state. The distrcts Ballary, kadapa, karnul and Anantppur were formery under Nizam of Hyderabad. However The NIZAM got the English troops stationed in Hyderabad for his protection and he had to pay yearly some amont to the East India Company. However The Nizam found it difficult tk pay the annual sum and in lieu he ceded the above four districts, to the English and asked them to collect the money from the district revenue. This was in 1800 oct 12. the Englishmen imposed high taxes on farmers and this was much resented by them. The ceded districts were under collector thomos manroe with four sub collectors. William thakre was a sub collectorcollectorat Adoni.
Agitated villagers of ternekal led by gowdappa, and village officers reached the office to give representation on the imposed taxes where they met srinivas rao the govt representative. at that time there were four more persons were with srinivas rao and these men were against the village ternekal and it's people. They mocked at the villagers that nawabs rule was over and company rule was there. This was much resented by the villagers. Soon serious clash took place and the villagers with drawn swords attacked srinivas rao and his friends. Four friends of Rao were killed and srinivas rai was, spared being a brahmin. he was allowed to let go after a condition that he would not reveal any thing to the administration. after few days Rao informed sub collector about the serious incident and the furious thakre attacked the village with four hundred troops. Villagers did not agree to pay the increased taxes and decided to fight. The village was enclosed in a fort with strong doors. The battle at the main door lasted for 15 days. The main doors were blown up by the large cannons brought later and they killed many villagers with guns and matchlocks. Gowdappa and two more village officers were arrested and they were hanged in the evening to the village entrance.
GOWDAPPA and others vanished into pages of history in course of time. he led this, revolt 45 years before another rebel leader uyyalawada narsimha reddy from karnul district. However no research has been done on this great son of India and caste politics are blamed for the apathy of the govt.

SARDAR SARVAI PAPADU OR PAPANNA GOUD. He rose to eminence from very humble beginning in todays Telanga during the rule of Aurangzeb in 17 century and 18 century beginning. He was from the local community of toddy tappers.There are various versions about his place of birth, It is believed that he was born at Tatikonda or shapuram near Warangal in 1650. He was brought up by his mother Sarvamma having lost his father early. He refused to be a toddy tapper the hereditary profession and as he grew up became very dynamic and managed some wealth from his widowed sister and acquired arms. He inspired locals against oppression by Muslim governor of Deccan and raised an army from oppressed class of society and fought bitter battles with mughal forces in Telangana. He built forts at khila shapur near jangaon 70 km from Hyderabad, sarvaipeta, tatikonda,cherial, vemulakonda and huzurabad. Shapur was his capital. He captured the very strong mighty hill fort at Bhongir at 40 km from Hyderabad, even warangal fort once the capital of Kakateeya kings and finally the Golconda fort at Hyderabad too. He had sway over present day districts Karimnagar, Warangal, Nalgonda and part of Hyderabad dist and ruled with impunity for 30 years. He took up welfare measures and protected downtrodden and looted zamindars. He was considered as a Robinhood .Muslim historians portrayed him as an highway robber. He convincingly defeated Muslim forces and Bahadur shah I (son of Aurangzeb), the mughal emperror declared him as a ruler and gave him robes of honor and a farman.. However, his adversaries prevailed over the mughal emperor to withdraw the farman as Papadu was from very low caste of Toddy Tappers and a large army was sent against him. Many battles were fought and his capital khila shapur was surrounded. Papadu escaped but was betrayed by a close relative to Muslims at Huzurabad. He was tortured and beheaded as per Muslim historians in1710 while local folklore states he committed suicide with a dagger. Papadu shines brightly in the minds of local folklore. His life had been described by two European historians who saw him during his life time(.Metcalf, Barbara Daly; Metcalf, Thomas R. (2002), A Concise History of India Cambridge University Press). He was contemporary of shivaji maharaj. History books overlooked his achievements and local present day rulers turned a Nelson's eye towards him as he was against feudal community in Telangana like Doras and reddys in villages who exploited the poor to maximum. A statue of papadu is erected in the village Khila shapuram and also on Bhongir hill fort which he conquered. Ballads sing the life history of Papadu. A telugu movie was also produced on Papadu with Suman as the hero. The fort built at shapuram was in bad state as was not being maintained well and last year during rains ,a portion of a large bastion collapsed and timely repairs would have averted the damage. Now the state govt is on the job of restoring the fort to its glory as it is a protected monument.This is a granite fort in which papadu fitted many cannons and fought several battles successfully.All efforts are being made by the Goud society in telangana to give a proper place to papadu in history of Telangana and India.
