PUCHHALAPALLI SUNDARIAH.. THE DOYEN OF COMMUNIST Resistance TO NIZAMS GOVT IN HYDERABAD... after police action he was elected to Rajya sabha later. He was under ground from 1948 to 1952.He contested in state elections and won in 1955 .He remained till 1967 and after a long gap, he entered AP assembly again from 1978 ..1983.. he was Marxist party president till1976. He was from a wealthy family from Nellore. But, he gave up his lands and distributed to poor and he did not go for an offspring so that he could serve society better. He participated and led communist armed struggle against Nizams government and forces from front. He was elected to highest party posts. He also wrote his experience as books that are greatly valued.
