BHEEM RAO/RAYA OF MUNDARGI. KATNATAKA. He was the ruler at Mundargi with a granite hill fort in mundargi town. He rebelled against East India Company in 1857.Afer fighting some successful battles ,he was killed near Torgal fort. He was one of the three provincial rulers who rebelled in 1857. Others, we're baba saheb of Nargund. Gadag dist and venkatappa naik of shorapur in Gulbarga region under Nizam 5 in 1857.
