INDU BHUSHAN RAY. INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY..He was attracted towards India's liberation by revolutionary activities. he led a life like ascetic and displayed no interest in life. He was selected to throw a bomb at the mayor of a town in bengal. he was arrested in Alipore bomb case and sentenced to term at cellular jail andaman where he suffered greatly. he could not tolerate inhuman torture and committed suicide by hanging.

6.Rajya vardhana was the king at. Thaneswar in 6 century and Harsha was his younger brother. Their sister rajasri was married to a provincial king grihaverman of Maikhuri. the king of Malwa attacked and killed grihaverma and put rajasri in prison. Rajavardhan waged war on the aggressor wwhen gaudasasanka from Bengal entered as a friend to rajyavardhana but was was in league with king of Malwa. by betrayal Rajya vardhana was killed by Sasha ka. Harsha who became the next king after his brothers death attacked sasanka and killed him along with co conspirator .king if Malwa .His sister rajasri was rescued .
7. Sardar Patel was elected to become the Pm of India in 1947. however Mk Gandhi wanted jawaharlal Nehru to become the Pm and he ensured that Patel accepted his decision. This was in fact a great betrayal of Indian people by him . Patel became deputy Pm and died in three years. Nehru continued as Pm till 1964 who established the rule of his dynasty. Sardar Patel daughter was ignored completely.
8. raja bhartru Hari was an ancient king of India and he loved his wife Pingala profusely. The tragedy was that pingala betrayed the love of the king and this was exposed to the king. raja bhartruhari left his kingdom and went to Saint Gorakhnath and became an ascetic. he wrote a great treatise bhartruhari subhashitamulu a moral treatise. The life of raja bhartruhari is sung as ballads in north India widely.

STudied in Bangabasi college till I sc course. he moved to Benares with family when his younger brother was on the hit list of police. Shoot at sight orders were issued against his younger brother, He joined P and T dept. Later moved to Dakshineswar, He was arrested for Dakshineswar conspiracy on 10 NOv25 . And was imprisoned in 1926. IN the jail he ad .PRamod Ranjan Chaudhry killed a notorious Dy supdt of police intelligence who spied in jail inmates. Consequently he and. Pramod Ranjan Chaudhry were sentenced to death and hanged..
SANTOSH KUMAR MITRA, INDIAN REVOLUTIOANARY, FREEDOM STRUGGLE, he founded the Swaraj sevai sangha. he was attached with Hooghly Vidya mandir run by Bhupathi Majumdar . he was also jugantar leader..He was arrested for shankaritold murder case and arrested in 1928 On 16 sept 1931 mitrawas shot and killed by police at Hijli detention camp. he became a mgartyr.

1.turre baaz Khan was a commander in Hyderabad army of Nizam 5.When war broke out between armies of various princes and kings in north and east India company forces in 1857 Turre baaz Khan led a ,force and attacked Residency in Hyderabad. the British resident stayed in the fortified palace. There was intense exchange of fire between them. The invaders were beaten back by the English troops also aided by loyal troops. Turre Baez Khan escaped to the area of Toopran outskirts of Secunderabad . he was betrayed to the English army by a local tehsildar and Khan was hanged in Hyderabad.
2. Bahadur YAR Jung was a noble during the reign of Nizam 7 of Hyderabad before the police action in 1948 by Indian army. He was a great orator and Islamic scholar and Nizam patronised him. however Nizam was also at inconvenience by the outspoken views of the noble. Bahadur YAR Jung was the noted leader of majlis ittehadul muslimeen. he nourished it . once Bahadur yar Jung was inviteed to a party at an important nobles house in the evening where he Smoked a hukka which was a common practice in those days. suddenly he Collapsed and died..It is believed that the hukka contained cyanide poison that was planned and implanted. DAMODAR HARI CHAPEKAR, REVOLUTIONARY.in1896 the city of pune in Maharashtra was devastated by bubonic plague. wC Rand was the plague commissioner in the pune city and he was given wide powers to enter the private houses and strip the inmates including women in public by the officers to examine them and take away. this practice was very much resented by the people of the city. Representations to the govt expressing concern about the practice was neglected. Damodar chapekar 29 years, balkrishna hari chapekar 26 and vasudeo chapekar 18 were too enraned. it was the diamond Jubilee year of queen Victoria's coronation and functions were held at govt house in the city. the three brothers planned for action. the commission er WCrWC Rand and his military escort Lt Ayerst were returning from the function by a carriage . the three brothers entered the carriage and shot the officers with their revolvers. SACHINDRANATH SANYAL. INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY. he was thee founder of Hindusthan Republican association and in 1928 itveas changed toHindusthan socialist Republican association. he took very active part in Ghadar party activities and in 1915 when the conspiracy was, exposed he went underground. later he was sentenced for the part in conspiracy and sento andaman cellular jail to serve life term. He was released from jail but when he continued hiscactivities hecwas re sent to cellular jail for secondterm. in the hailhe contracted tuberculosis and was sent to Gorakhpur jailwhere he passed away in 1942.sanyal was a very senior leader and influenced bhagat singh ram prasdad bismil, Chandrasekhar azad. And others. afterescape of ras bihari bose to Japan, sanyal was considered the mostnoted revolutionary inIndia.
BHUPENDRANATH DUTTA WAS AN Indian revolutionary and in later life was a noted sociologist and anthropologist. he was the younger brother of swami vivekananda. in his younger days , he was associated closely with jugantar patrika as editor. he was associated with Aurobindo who later became a rishi. he was arrested and imprisoned In 1907 on charges of sedition and sentenced to one year prison term He was also a privy to Indo German conspiracy. after release he went to America and obtained MA at brown University. he was a member of Ghadar party .He went to Germany during wwI and started taking part in revolutionary and political activities. He became secretary to Indian Independence committee. he obtained doctorate in Anthropology at Hamburg univerdity in 1923.Back in India he joined Indian National congress and was also arrested for political activities. he wrote several books. he passed away in 1961.

ULLASKAR DUTTA, REVOLUTIONARY., Ullaskar dutta, was an Indian revolutionary and was a member of jugantar group. in presidency college. Kolcatta he was, rusticated for hitting prof russel for passing derogatory commenrs on Bengalis. he, was expert bomb maker and supplied a bomb to khudi ram bose that he lobbed in to a carriage to kill Kingsford in muzafar nagar but kingsfort was not in the carriage and two women died. he was arrested along with khudiram bose and many activists. He was sentenced to death but later changed to life term. And deported to andaman jail.

SATYENDERNATH BOSE OR BASU, INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY, He was from noted family in begal and did not complete graduation andcwas attracted to revolutionary activities. the police was after the revolutionaries after the blast cast Muzaffar nagar which was an attempt to kill kingsford the dist judge. police raids at Alipore area resulted in unearthing a bomb ctory apart from concerned literature of revolutionaries. Satyen was also taken into custody and lodged at Alipore jail along with many others including kanailal dutta. one narendranath gosain turned approver and gave away names of activists that resulted in many more arrests. Satyen and kanailal conspired and killed narendranath in the jail hospital by shooting with smuggled revolvers. he gave up to authorities. he was tried and hanged along with kanailal at Alipore jail. Hanging of khudiram bose, kanailal and satyendranath caused great commotion in the country in those, days
BARINDRA KUMAR GHOSH. INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY. He was the younger brother of Arobindo ghosh of pondicherry who was also a noted revolutionary. barindra as an young activist edited a weekly jugantar in association with Bagha jatin at calcutta. soon an outfit jugantar emerged. they recruited many activists for the cause. he was arrested owing to the muzaffarnagar blast case and Alipore bomb case, along with scores of activists. he was tried and sentenced to death. But later, it was reduced to life, term. And deported to andaman cellullar jail and spent 12 years there under torture. Following gen amnesty ,he was, released and returned to calcutta. he became a journalist and edited, Dawn of India in 1933 an English weekly. he was associated with statesmen and in 1950 edited Dainik basumathi in bengali . he passed away in 1959.

SURYA SEN .. INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY, he was a Bengali teacher by profession. after graduation at berhampore college at Chittagong. Now in Bangladesh. he was influenced by freedom struggle. although he participated in non co operation movement soon he formed his own revolutionary group being a very good organiser, He us famous for raid on Chittagong armoury with intention of capture of arms and ammunition if police forces. tge raid was conducted on 18 April 1930. The raid was very intense and 80 British troops died along with 12 revolutionaries. tge raiders got the arms but not ammunition. After the raid the revolutionaries escaped and hid in small groups Sen was arrested on 16 April 1944 on the tip off given by Netra Sen who betrayed him. the next day a revolutionary beheaded Netra Sen in his house with a Dah .a long knife peculiar to eastern states in India. surya Sen was tried and hanged at Chittagong jail on 12Jan 1934.Along with him another revolutionary Tarakeswar dasragir was also hanged, Before hanging all teeth of surya Sen were hammered out and nails pulled off so that he could not shout bandemajrarm while hanging .long live memory of surya Sen
KHUDI RAM BOSE, Indian revolutionary. Indian freedom struggle. He was from Bengal and at very young age was inspired to liberate India by armed struggle. He was contemporary of Bagha jatin. he took part in attack on Muzaffarpur dist judge kingsford along with prafulla chandra chaki another revolutionary. They threw grenades into a horse carriage coming out of officers club expecting that kingsford was in the carriage. Sadly hecwas not there and two women in the carriage lost lives. Prafulla escaped from therehowever khudiram bose was arrested soon and he was tried and hanged in 1908.He was only 18 years old. god bless his soul.

Happiness is a state of mind. our scriptures state that whatever a man gets in this life is based on his karma.Who ever fully believes in the theory of karma and deeds of past lives will not be perturbed at the materialistic possessions, wealth, type of job he does, beauty, ranks, promotions,awards, etc. inspite of this theory, majority of
human beings in this country following Hindu dharma over look the karma theory and are running after all the factors mentioned above. he links his happiness to these factors and runs to achieve same by hook or crook. all may not be crooks causing damage to others in the process of achievement. although he desires achievement of factors mentioned above, he will be happy if he gets them .In other words would be unhappy if he does not get them. But he may not undermine others. in this cruel materialistic world , all are not fair, opportunities too are not fair everywhere and always. they depend on human factors prevalent. thus mostly the man becomes victim of circumstances. some people link these happenings to destiny that is, already written by the Lord at the time of ones birth. Man thus blames his surroundings, colleagues, bosses,parents, relatives govt policies, political set up and opportunities.. Thus all humans can never be
Happy even in Hindu dharma unless every one believes and follows karma siddhanta.even great sages like viswamitrsa was jealous of vasuishta did every thing to damage vasishta. he killed all sons of vasishta and carried away the divine cow and thus his struggle over his rival was very long. even our high political leaders like Mk Gandhi. Nehru, Indira Gandhi were not above board. They ensured that their words were final and were to be adhered to their actions which also caused great human suffering. even they were never happy guys and content. they always aspired for high and higher. coming to the swamijis of various institutions of Hindu dharma many have become vocal ,and controversial running around political leaders to gain something in return. no swamiji appears to be above board. They seek popularity. Thus they also have no happiness. No names please. even divine beings like Indra and many other deities are not happy with what they have and scriptures are full of episodes involving them.
thus we as human beings are minute beings and are struggling to become happy by materialistic pleasures which is against our Hindu dharma. Then what happens about others who follow other religions such as Buddhist, jainism, sikhism, Muslims and Christians. their philosaphies are different and scriptures are different. happiness in them is dependent on factors preached in their scriptures.

BAGHA JATIN REVOLUTIONARY.. FROM bengal.. we I era.
BAGHA JATIN Was a title for Jatindranath chaterjee. A very famous revolutionary from former united Bengal n the early period of last century in British India. He killed a royal Bengal tiger in an open combat in a forest and killed it by using a Gurkha knife only and was badly mauled and injured by the tiger. Luckily a. Doctor saved him and gave him life Again.From then onwards he was known as bagha jatin.bagh means tiger in Hindi.He was physically lrobust and powerful in unarmed combat.He was a great organizer and had a vision of liberating India through armed struggle and by an uprising for which he established Many co ordination cells, local units and didstributed them in the country. He organised the yugantar party and he made arrangements to smuggle in arms and ammunition from Germany into India to facilitate an uprising. he was involved in H ow rah sirpur on spinach of 1910, Zilch violence of 1911, and assassination of deputy superintendent of police shams ul alam a British stooge. But he was acquitted as there was no evidence against him. He always acted such that he was insulated.He also created resentment in British INdia army regiments for rebelling when called like done in 1857 not only in India. But also abroad. he was in contact with champekraman pillaai in Germany and others in japan. .the plan of smuggling arms from Germany Unfortunately was leaked to authorities through Czech sources to USA and America informed British agencies and it was thwarted by police.the police accompanied by a British army unit arrived at katti pada near nala sore that was the most backward area and learnt that few Bengalis stayed in a hut. But sensing danger Jatin and his friends escaped. After two days chase , bagha jatin and his associates numbering five clashed with police near balasore in Orissa On 10 sept 1915, after digging a trench. jatin. Refused to leave and escape and he refused to desert the men, And the fight lasted 70 minutes. the rebels were armed with Mauser pistols while the police was armed with modern rifles and plenty of ammunition. the casualties on govt were many and were not declared.jatin was seriously wounded and rebels Manoranjan sen Gupta and niten das Gupta were captured and later they were tried and hanged. They were caught when the ammunition was spent. Later Jatin breathed his last in an hospital. T he British officer commented that if jatin was born in England his statue would have been erected at Trafalgar Square next to lord Admiral Nelson. such was the respect he commanded even with enemies. had jatin been successful, he would have been the father of nation and not MKG as he was still in South Africa. it is also true that successive congress Govts played down contributions of jatin and an obscure railway station has been named after him apart from a small area in Calcutta. Shame.. To thankless nation.
