Encounter case that was being fought at the tribunal has taken a happy turn for the convicts. They were granted bail after long suffering of ten years in jails having been court martialled by GCM by Army. the hollowness of army judicial system has been exposed at last. it is clear that The GCM failed to prove charges and sadly the five army per sons were condemned to life term. now army has suspended the lifesentense. Can army give back the lost ten years, restore their prestige, promotions that they lost and many other things like mental torture all these years. What action army will take on the lopsided GCM proceedings that was turned down by the tribunal. Who pressurised army for a hasty action. At that time congress govt was in power and during congress rule army in j and k was put into lot of problems of over actions, human right violations, and hindi terrorism was coined during the congress regime. hope the five army men will be suitably compensated for the goofing up by army.Thisvshould becomeva lesson to army jag branch.
