1 Jilani  brothers the  Muslim army generals  in the army of Vijaynagar  betrayed Rama raya in the tallikota battle in 1565. Vijaynagar army lost the battle and Rama raya was captured and killed.This was a great set back to Hindu empire. they abandoned Vijaynagar Hampi and shifted to penukonda and then to chandragiri and vellore.

2.Tuluva veera Narasimha rayalu betrayed and killed the the last king of saluva dynasty and he became the king. after him Krishna deva raya became the king.

3.sadasiva rayalu the name sake EMPERROR of Vijay Nagar  was killed by Tirumala rayalu of araveeti dynasty and this dynasty ruled till the end in 1645

4Jagga raya  betrayed the Vijaynagar king Sri Ranga  11  and killed him along with his family at vellore fort. however prince ramadeva raya escaped with help of yachamanayaka ruler of kalahasthi

5. rulers of chenji, Madhura betrayed the  Vijaynagar kings and this resulted in extinguishing the empire

6. venkoji bhonsle younger brother of Shivaji who was a general with Bijapur kingdom  was deputed to restore the kingdom of thanjavur to the surviving son of Vijayaraghava naika.  Who was killed in a battle with Madhura naika, venkoji defeated Madhua Naik but he  betrayed the thanjavur prince and he became the king.

7 Aurangzeb betrayed his father shah e Jahan  and imprisoned him in palace till he died 

8. guru Gobind sinhji the last guru of Sikhs was betrayed by  a disciple who was in fact an agent of  Mughals  or commander of Sirhind  and he stabbed the guru  at Nanded.The guru died of injuries soon.
