BARINDRA KUMAR GHOSH. INDIAN REVOLUTIONARY. He was the younger brother of Arobindo ghosh of pondicherry who was also a noted revolutionary. barindra as an young activist edited a weekly jugantar in association with Bagha jatin at calcutta. soon an outfit jugantar emerged. they recruited many activists for the cause. he was arrested owing to the muzaffarnagar blast case and Alipore bomb case, along with scores of activists. he was tried and sentenced to death. But later, it was reduced to life, term. And deported to andaman cellullar jail and spent 12 years there under torture. Following gen amnesty ,he was, released and returned to calcutta. he became a journalist and edited, Dawn of India in 1933 an English weekly. he was associated with statesmen and in 1950 edited Dainik basumathi in bengali . he passed away in 1959.
