BAJI ROUT.. YOUNGEST TO BE A MARTYR.. he was the youngest son of a boat man on brahmani river at nilakanthapur, dhenkanal in orissa. as an active member if banar sena of prajamandal he volunteered tk keep a, watch at river at night. a British police force ordered him to cross the river by boat which he re fused. this was on 11 oct 1938 He was 11-12 years old. The police party then fired at him and at laxman mallik and fagu sahoo. BAJI ROUT died in the firing.
