VEER VINAYAK DAMODAR SAVARKAR. REVOLUTIONARY.HE WAS THE FOUNDER OF HINDU MAHA SABHA AND GAVE IDENTITY TO Hindus in India. while he was studying law in England he published some books including history if indias war of Independence 1857 that was banned. His association with India house in England was dislike by the govt and he was arrested and deported to India. However he tried to escape by jumping in sea and was in France. however the govt of France handed him over to England violating the norms. in India he was sentenced to two life term and sent to cellular jail in andamans. After assassination of Mk Gandhi in 1948 ,savarkar was charged as co conspirator but was rel eased as no evidence was available. savarkar passed away in 1966 on feb26. after formation of BJP PARTY and rise of Modi, savarkar memory re, surfaced and he became more relevant.
