SULTAN KULI KUTUBSHA. FIRST SULTAN AT GOLCONDA 16 century.(As sultan1518..1543 ).He was from persia and migrated to court of bahmani sultans at Bidar, by vryue of his efficiency he rose in stature and was, appointed as taraf dar of GOLCONDA province in which he excelled. He was great confidant of MahmuD shah IV. he declared independence only after the death of MahmuD shah 1V.He ruled for long and jamshed was his son who was very cruel and sultan put him on custody from which he planned andgot the aged sultan 90 years murdered by killedar while sultan was praying in jami maszid in GOLCONDA fort. jamshed became the king of GOLCONDA.
