BATUKESWAR DUTT. He was a member of HSRA  and associate of  Bhagat singh. Bhagat singh and Dutt dropped leaflets and bombs in Delhi assembly from visitors gallery.  There were no death and few were injured, Both were arrested and  were tried. Bhagat singh was sentenced to death  for saunders murder  at Lahore and Dutt was   given  Life imprisonment. After release he took part in quit India movement and was again jailed for few years. He contracted TB while in prison due to long suffering and   had to struggle  for a  living even after India got independence. He did not  get any govt help in his  life   and lead a life of much suffering. Being a man of high  self respect he did not approach any one for help  and Govt ignored him.  JHe  breathed his last in AIIMS Delhi in 1965. It is a matter of Shame that the govt turned a Nelsons eye to him and his sufferings . After his death and later  a residential colony was named after him at Sadar jung airport and a book written by Mr Verma was published by the govt agency.
