SOHAN SINGH BHAKNA.. Founder president of Ghadar party. He was a distinguished member of the party. He spent 16 years in prison having been tried and sentenced in Lahore conspiracy case. After release he concentrated on peasant movement, kisan sabha and communist party activities. He passed away in 1968
