SHER ALI AFRIDI, He was a prisoner in Andaman Islands. He had a grudge against the viceroy Lord   Mayo who visited the islands in 1872. He  murdered the viceroy of  British India India  in the evening hours  on 8 Feb  1872 when he was going  towards the boat awaiting him. Sher ali suddely jumped out of darkness and stabbed the viceroy with a knife killing him on the spot. Sher Ali was  arrested and tried and hanged in Viper islands prison on  11 march 1872
